what are the gas co's paying now for up front payment for 5 + 3 yr leases? thanks

Keep in mind that Barnett Shale prices have climbed upwards to the thirties for the people that are still hanging in there. And the Haynesville Shale's size, depth and deposit capacity far exceeds the Barnett Shale.

It is the mission of the HSLA to get the best deal possible using the combined leverage of a growing pool. So...20K and up is, we believe, an achievable goal. Someone is going to do it - even in Shreveport. Getting people 20,000 dollars for one acre of land would be incredible accomplishment; we can't wait to see what happens in the next few months.; ▶ Reply to This

We are holding out for a bit, as we found out the neighborhood next to us is getting $30,000 sign-on bonus plus 25% royalties for 3 yrs.(Barnett Shale)
I only have a couple of acres by the Lake O The Pines (Haynesville Shale), and had a very low sign-on bonus offer which I rejected.; ▶ Reply to This
